Aisha Jamila Hinds is a popular American actress. She is known for the roles she played on shows on television like The Shield, and True Blood. Her versatility has been demonstrated through 2003 when she has delivered outstanding performances on TV shows like 9-1-1 Detroit, 1-8-7, and Under the Dome. The first time she was noticed was for her performance as Anna in the 2005 movie Assault on Precinct 13. However it was her performance as the feminist Fannie Lou Hamer, in the biography film All the Way that finally gave her acclaim as an actor. Hind received praise for her portrayal of Harriet Tubman in WGN America's period television drama Underground. She currently stars on the procedural drama series 9-1-1 in the leading role of firefighter/paramedic Henrietta Hen Wilson. 20th Century Fox Television renewed the show to air a new season. In the last few days, Hind wrapped filming for the Hollywood film Godzilla: King of the Monsters due for a release in mid-2019. Bachchan was the symbol of New Bollywood with these films which defied the basic Bollywood structure. Bachchan became the Queen of Bollywood by her performance as Paro the deceived lover in Devdas the film, which was one of the Bollywood's most popular films. It was also the first Bollywood film that was screened at Cannes Film Festival. Her performance was praised for her performance in Chokher Bal (2003), a dramatic story based on Rabindranath Tagore's novel. This year she was selected as the first Indian actor on the Cannes Film Festival Jury. Bachchan began her career in Gurinderchadha's Bride and Prejudice, a ballet and musical version of Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice. Her star-power and elegance made her the perfect choice for the premier major film in English. After her release Provoked: A True Story in English, she came back to Bollywood and appeared in the blockbuster Dhoom: 2 (2007). Abhishek Bachchan was a regular actor as well as the son of Bollywood icon Amitabh Bachchan. In April 2007, she married him. They were married in a ceremony that brought together two formidable Indian celebrities.
