Allyson Felix
Allyson Michel Felix was born the 18th of November 1985. She was born in Los Angeles. Paul Felix served as an ordinand in Sun Valley at Master's Seminary. Marlean Felix taught at Balboa Magnet. Felix discovered early that she had an aptitude in running while attending Los Angeles Baptist High School. After her first audition she was ranked among the top two athletes in the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championships for the 200-meter sprint in only 10 weeks. Felix, who graduated high school in 2003, signed the sports contract with Adidas. After that, she attended an institution called the University of Southern California and pursued a degree in elementary education. The following year, Felix was awarded her first Olympic medal during the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens Greece breaking a junior world record by taking 200 metres at 22.18 seconds. In 2005, she became the youngest 200-meter world champion during the Helsinki World Championships. She was able to defend her title in 2007 beating her former Jamaican rival Veronica Campbell. Felix took part in her first Olympics at Beijing London Rio de Janeiro as well as Tokyo regularly placing in the top three places in all her competitions.
